What’s ‘NEW ‘ in Petunias
Petunia (Petunia x hybrida) For many years the Petunia has been just a Petunia. Currently, extensive development of new cultivars with exciting characteristics is being introduced. Here are a few distinctions between varieties to assist you in your Petunia selection.

Grandiflora Singles By far the most popular for their show of large (grand) flowers on compact to vigorous plants. An excellent all purpose Petunia in beds and containers. (Avoid overhead irrigation; this causes the flowers to collapse from weight of the water.)

Grandiflora Doubles Large fully double flowers that resemble carnations, best used in containers.

Multiflora Singles Flower size is smaller than grandifloras, but what they lack in size they make up for in numbers (multi). Available in many cultivars and hundreds of colors!

*NEW * WAVE series of multiflora is a completely different kind of Petunia; it will amaze even the most experienced gardener. Never have we seen so much color in a ground hugging, spreading habit. Excellent in hanging baskets and mass landscape beds! Available in purple and pink.

Milliflora Singles Fantasy The first in a new class of very dwarf Petunias. An explosion of small ½ to 1 ½" flowers compliment the compact round habit growing in mounds 8 - 10" tall. Best in containers--- a novel addition to the Petunia family.
